-- This venue is located in downtown San Francisco, on Market Street between 5th and 6th Streets. Parking is atrocious, so if you're coming in from out-of-town, it is recommended to take the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) train system since it's fairly inexpensive, and better yet, the closest station practically drops you off right in front of the theater. The Powell St. station is where you want to get off, dropping you on Market between 4th and 5th. The Civic Center station ain't bad either (Market and 8th Sts.).

-- Here is some info on the BART system:

-- There are zillions of web pages for the other sights and sounds of San Francisco, the city by the bay. I will leave the rest of the search in all your capable hands.
