Where When Item Notes
Santa Rosa 8 Oct Ticket GIF My first show this year. The venue was an former church and exuded a peaceful setting for a great show. The crowd was slow to get motivated, but at the end, everyone was on their seat. (review[s]). Here's the venue seating diagram (12K GIF) for the Memorial Theater.
San Francisco 9 Oct Ticket GIF Pass JPG Crazy town, crazy people (just ask those of us in line!), historical theater. People were smoking certain plants for medical reasons. Ian's guitar smoked too. Live clips from this show are part of the Fall Free video. (review[s])
Los Angeles 11 Oct Ticket GIF I almost made it to this show, but in the end, could not get my travel arrangements together, so I sold my tickets... but not before I scanned one of them! (review[s])
Kansas City 23 Oct Ticket GIF The venue was not in a nice part of town... the Pizza Hut/KFC had bulletproof windows in front of the cashiers. (no reviews available)
The Score Cards GIF After every song, the Parsomniacs give their rating of the band's performance. (from left: Wesley (blurry), Jon R., and Kirk K.)
Outside the Hotel GIF Chatting with Alan and Ian outside their hotel before leaving for St. Louis. (from left: Wesley, Scott H., Alan, Ian, and Kirk K.)
Saint Louis 24 Oct Ticket GIF Great atmospheric and decored venue. (review[s])
OUTside DA Bus JPG Stopped for a break heading into town... this was the bus that the band traveled in for all their American shows. Ian is playfully behind the wheel here, although you can't really see him.
Kirk, Jon, and Ian GIF The Parsomniacs were conversing with Ian when Wes suddenly took this photo.
Ian's Otis Spunkmeyer JPG While Ian was in the driver's seat, he took a picture of Peter with an Otis Spunkmeyer truck, which incidentally had the band rolling on the ground because of the play on words. Thanks Ian!
INside DA Bus GIF Alan gave us a tour of the tour bus, including a preview of the new video for Fall Free (part of which is available on the CD-ROM). (from left: Alan, Jon, Scott, Sandra, Kirk)
Gary and Ian JPG (wide) A few photos with Gary and Ian after the St. Louis show before the allnighter drive to Detroit.
Neil GIF Cheers Mate! From Neil Lockwood.
Detroit 25 Oct Ticket GIF Pass JPG This venue had a "dinner-table"-type setup for the orchestra section (review[s])
Detroit's State Theatre GIF Before the show, the twilight theatre marquee shines brightly while Kirk reflects the glazed look we all shared after the long drive and lack of sleep.
The Parsomniacs JPG The Parsomniacs pose for a photo after the Detroit show waiting for the band to appear in the guest lounge.
Alan congratulates the Parsomniacs GIF Alan gave best regards to the Parsomniacs for their support and effort during this leg of their American Tour. Here, Alan poses before the show with the Parsomniacs for a memorable photo.
The Parsomniacs meet The Avenue GIF Wanting to pose some more for the camera, the Parsomniacs meet up again with The Avenue chief editor Steve Martin.
Kalamazoo 26 Oct Ticket GIF The final leg of the Great American Parsomniacs Midwest Road Trip (no reviews available)
Kalamazoo's State Theatre JPG Yet another State Theatre, this time, it's from Kalamazoo, Michigan!
[Harvey's] After-the-show at Harvey's: the Kalamazoo pub where the band and Parsomniacs enjoyed their last meal and conversation. Afterwards, the Parsomniacs started their long jouney home. (no photo)
Summary 23-26 Oct [sticker] Jon's commemorative stickers that the Parsomniacs gave to everyone kind enough to chat with us before, during, and after the shows! (no photo)
